Construction Today - NordHaus
Weis Builders is building a new high-rise in Minneapolis' trendy northeast community.
Candlewood Suites Fort Carson, Colorado
The Candlewood Suites designed for Fort Carson has the typical 5-story layout, but is designed with a metal frame instead of wood. Light gauge steel (LGS) construction is very similar to wood-framed construction in principle, but requires different building materials and design specifications. For instance, LGS structures are non-combustible, which is a code requirement for some types of structures. However, steel loses its strength in fire quite easily, so must be protected with fire-rated sheeting.

NordHaus Luxury Apartments
Minneapolis, Minnesota:
The NordHaus Luxury Apartments sit on 3.2 acres just east of the Mississippi River in Downtown Minneapolis. This 75-million-dollar project broke ground in August 2016. Tenants began moving into its 20-story tower and six-story mid-rise structure in September of 2017 and the entire structure is scheduled for completion in 2018.
Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands:
The 2016 Margaritaville Vacation Club project was a renovation and addition for the 34-acre resort property. Phase I included the turnover of 70 renovated poolside and beachfront guest units, new design-build Margaritaville Restaurant, and check-in facility. Phase II included 194 renovated hillside guest rooms, a new Market Square retail area and Wyndham Vacation Ownership Sales Center.
The Village West Luxury Apartments, Kansas City, Kansas:
The Village West Luxury Apartments in Kansas City is a new
community to the Legends area. This area, west of Kansas
City consists of KC Sports Stadium, a casino, Kansas Speedway
Nascar Stadium, a ballpark, waterpark and the Cerno
Corporation corporate offices.

Situated in Vienna, Virgina, with convenient access to the Dunn Loring Metro Station as well as major highways, the Dunn Loring Metro Apartments at Avenir Place are exquisitely modern, with wood plank-style flooring, crown molding, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, built-in speakers and upgraded fixtures with clean, simple lines.
The New Holiday Inn Hotel Project in Eau Claire, Wisconsin:
This new 130 room hotel project includes 86,000 sq.ft. of FIRM-FILL® 3310 over 40,000 sq.ft. of entangled net sound mat and was installed in this project by R.C. Spray, Inc. in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
The Residences at 19th & Logan in Denver, Colorado:
This new apartment community includes four separate buildings as well as retails shops, commercial space and restaurants and 188,909 sq.ft. of FIRM-FILL® 3310 over 132,843 sq.ft. Quiet Qurl® 55/025 MC was installed in this project by Gypsum Floors of Denver, LLC.
SearStone-Calais Terrace and Lorraine Plaza project - Cary, NC:
SearStone, a retirement community in Cary, North Carolina, was built using 144,000 sq.ft. FIRM-FILL® 4010 installed by long time Hacker licensed applicator KMAC of the Carolinas, Inc., Charlotte, North Carolina
Suite 2801 at Glade Parks - Euless, TX:
16 Buildings, 417 units - 325,999 sq.ft. FIRM-FILL® 3310 and 200,000 sq.ft. of Quiet Qurl® 55/025 MC was installed in this project by Subfloor Systems, Inc.
The Grande at Riverdale - Morris County, NJ:
